ACG Detroit to Present Rick Williams with M&A Lifetime Achievement Award

In yet another tribute in a string of accolades this year for Managing Shareholder R. Jamison Williams, Jr., the Detroit Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) has announced that it will honor Rick with the M&A Lifetime Achievement Award.

Founded in 1954, ACG’s membership includes 14,500 professionals from private equity firms, corporations and lenders that invest in middle market companies, as well as from law, accounting, investment banking and other firms that provide advisory services and who are involved in middle market transactions – “all working together to get the deal done.” ACG is a global organization with 59 chapters in the United States.”

Williams, Williams, Rattner & Plunkett has been an active supporter and participant in ACG’s local activities and programming. Rick has been a driving force behind many substantial mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in the region, and for his accomplishments, he has also received “Deal Maker of the Year” awards from The M&A Advisor and Crain’s Detroit Business.
