R. Jamison Williams, Jr., the President of Williams, Williams, Rattner & Plunkett, P.C., in Birmingham, Michigan, has been recognized by The M&A Advisor as the “2009 Dealmaker of the Year” in Cross-Boarder (European / American) Transactions.  He was also recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business as a finalist in the “Dealmaker of the Year” category in the 2008 Crain's M&A Awards.

Mr. Williams is actively involved in local community affairs.  He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Michigan Opera Theater and serves on the Board of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and in the recent past, on the Boards of Trustees of the Cranbrook Educational Community, Beaumont Hospital and the Center for Hearing Disorders at the University of Michigan.  He is also a Director of several private foundations and a number of companies, including Penske Corporation.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Princeton University and The University of Michigan Law School.
