Robert S. Bick, a shareholder with Williams, Williams, Rattner & Plunkett PC, in Birmingham, received the "U.S. Cross-Border Deal of the Year (Europe)" award at the M&A Advisor's 8th Annual Mergers & Acquisitions Awards reception held at the New York Athletic Club on Dec. 14. Bick was honored for his work in connection with the $314 million sale of a Michigan aerospace tooling company to a public-traded European company.

Bick concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law and mergers & acquisitions law. He was named a "Michigan Super Lawyer" in the area of corporate law in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He was also recognized by dbusiness magazine in 2008 as a Michigan "Top Lawyer" in the area of corporate law and mergers & acquisitions law.

Bick is a graduate of the University of Michigan Business School and Law School.
