With over a decade of experience, Mr. Benoit takes pride in providing excellent legal service to clients in a wide range of legal matters.  Mr. Benoit has broad experience in a number of corporate and transactional matters, including: the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of commercial and residential real property; land use; zoning and other governmental approvals; platting subdivisions and establishing condominium and condominium conversion projects; entity formation; corporate finance; asset sales, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance; and representing lenders in connection with business and real estate loans.  Prior to joining Williams, Williams, Rattner & Plunkett, Mr. Benoit served as the Director of Land Acquisition and Development and Regional Counsel for Beazer Homes, a national homebuilder, in Birmingham, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio.  This diverse experience allows Mr. Benoit to provide practical, business-first solutions to his clients in a cost-efficient manner.

Mr. Benoit’s clientele include residential developers and home builders, commercial office building, shopping center, apartment and industrial park developers and operators, automotive suppliers, banking institutions and entrepreneurs. Mr. Benoit is licensed in Michigan and Ohio.
