Kevin S. Macaddino brings a diverse background to the practice of law. Besides his long tenure as a practicing attorney, he has an extensive background in real estate land acquisition, development, financing and leasing as well as equity formation and governance. In addition, he serves many corporate clients in guiding their growth and operating opportunities and assisting in mergers and acquisitions. He is a licensed residential builder who served as the president of a very successful custom home builder in Southeast Michigan. Mr. Macaddino’s practical experience when coupled with his legal skills allows him to focus on the problem solving issues of real estate and corporate transactions. He provides exceptional personal service to each of his clients.
Mr. Macaddino’s clientele include residential home builders and developers, commercial office building, shopping center, apartment and industrial park developers, as well as automotive suppliers and entrepreneurs. He has taught seminars in the areas of real estate law, commercial leasing, and residential construction. He has also written ethics opinions for the State Bar of Michigan’s Ethics, Judicial and Professional Committee and currently serves on the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
Mr. Macaddino is admitted to practice law in Michigan and in the United States District and Appellate Courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Member: Real Property Law Section); State Bar of Michigan (Member: Commercial Leasing and Management Committee; Sections on Real Property Law; and Corporations, Finance and Business Law) and the Oakland County Bar Association (Member: Real Estate Law Sections (Chairman 1996-1997)). He has received the “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating for attorneys practicing in the United States. Recently, he was named one of Metro Detroit’s “Top Lawyers” by DBusiness, Detroit’s premier business journal.
